Revamp Moto signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NACOF Oorja. The collaboration aims to introduce advanced, sustainable, and reasonable electric vehicle solutions in rural and agricultural areas. This partnership, if successful, will enhance mobility for farmers and micro-entrepreneurs.
For those unaware, NACOF Oorja is a prominent player in India’s renewable energy sector. The company specializes in various aspects, including design, consultation, integration, supply, installation, commissioning, and maintenance of off-grid and grid-connected Solar Power Plants.
On the other hand, Revamp Moto (RM) is the leading Indian manufacturer of modular electric two-wheelers. It offers a range of products, such as the Buddie 25, equipped with a 1.2 kWh battery providing a 70 km range and a 25 km/h top speed. Also, the company will soon unveil the Mitra 2, featuring a 3-kWh battery, offering a 150 km range and 55 km/h top speed.
Revamp Moto also appeared in Shark Tank and raised impressive 1cr on the show.
Purpose of the Collaboration
Revamp Moto plans to use NACOF’s vast farmer network for promoting and distributing its range of electric vehicles. It will target micro-entrepreneurs in rural regions of India. Also, the company aims to leverage NACOF’s reach to introduce multiple EV models for farmers and rural entrepreneurs.
NACOF Centres will offer micro-entrepreneurs business opportunities through RM’s Modular Utility Vehicles, equipped with swappable attachments. These vehicles will enable rural entrepreneurs to conduct business operations conveniently.
Both parties will work with their financial partners to offer financial products to farmers and rural businesses. The goal here is to ease the purchase of Revamp Moto’s EVs. These financial products will include subsidies, loans, and leasing options.
RM EVs will fulfil the transportation and logistics requirements of NACOF’s cooperative members and related businesses.
Also, it will provide advanced fleet management solutions, leveraging integrated IoT technology for real-time vehicle tracking and performance monitoring. Additionally, it will enhance operational efficiency and safety across the fleet. Revamp Moto will provide service support and training for vehicle maintenance and operation.

This partnership aligns with Revamp Moto’s goal of affecting 1 million lives by 2028 through advanced and green mobility solutions. The MoU aims to deploy a minimum of 100,000 vehicles, which will impact the lives of more than 500,000 farmers in India. Furthermore, the collaboration seeks to enhance farmers’ productivity, efficiency, and income levels.
