British luxury automaker Bentley will introduce the 2025 Continental GT Speed with the new Ultra Performance Hybrid powertrain on June 25 (16:00 BST). In India, this event will be at 8:30 pm.
Compared to the old W12 model, the new GT will produce more power. Its hybrid 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine will generate 771 bhp and 1000 Nm torque. In addition, the GT will travel up to 80 km on electric power and have a CO2 emissions rating of less than 50g/km.
According to the British automaker, the upcoming Continental will be its most powerful road car ever. It will feature advanced chassis technology, such as four-wheel steering, active AWD with torque vectoring, and an electronically limited slip differential. Moreover, it will include new dual-valve dampers and a 48-volt electric active anti-roll control system.

Bentley didn’t disclose the exact performance numbers for the new generation model. However, it may exceed the performance of the previous version. For example, the top speed of the previous W-12-based coupe was 335 km/h. Also, the vehicle could accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 3.5 seconds.
Furthermore, the specific details of the design are under wraps. Nevertheless, a recent teaser indicates it will have a larger grille, oval LED headlights, and new LED daytime DRLs. Also, the new luxury cruiser will be heavier than the previous model due to the added hybrid components.
The upcoming Continental GT is an upgraded version rather than a completely new car. Thus, its basic dimensions and interior design will remain largely unchanged. However, the luxury automaker might introduce several latest features and interior techs to stay competitive with others in the market.
