Saudi’s First BYD Showroom

Local distributor Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company constructed the first BYD store in Saudi Arabia. Notably, it includes a showroom, discovery center, and service center.

BYD and its Saudi distributor, Al-Futtaim Electric Mobility Company, co-hosted the opening ceremony. Also, the event showcased intricately crafted interactive experience zones and test drive sessions. It aimed to encourage guests to engage with BYD’s vision of sustainable mobility.

Local customers can test drive five models at the store, which include three electric vehicles: the Han EV, Atto 3, and Seal EV, and two plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) models: the Qin Plus and Song Plus.

The debut of BYD’s inaugural store in Saudi Arabia signifies its further expansion into the Saudi market, accelerating the shift to green transportation in the region.

AD Huang, General Manager of BYD’s Middle East and Africa Sales Division, stated:

According to the Saudi government’s plan, by 2030, NEVs are expected to account for 30% of Riyadh’s vehicle sales.

In addition to launching a diverse range of NEV products, BYD will collaborate with Al-Futtaim to continuously build an NEV ecosystem, jointly contributing to the rapid development of the local NEV industry.
