One of the country’s leading charging point operators, GLIDA (previously known as Fortum Charge and Drive India), has collaborated with Statiq, a renowned provider of smart public charging solutions. The aim of this partnership is to improve the convenience and accessibility of EV charging across India.
Through the Statiq App, EV users will be able to access GLIDA’s extensive network of 850+ charging points. Additionally, the app will cover not just GLIDA’s current charging stations but those planned for the future. It means that users won’t have to use multiple apps for charging and connectivity.
With Statiq’s mobile app, EV users can locate and book EV chargers. Also, the app makes it easy for remote payment for charging usage. Statiq offers solutions for EV charging at home, in public spaces, and in commercial settings.
The collaboration will allow EV users to access a broader network seamlessly and eliminate the need for multiple apps for charging and connectivity. However, users will still be able to access GLIDA Chargers through both the GLIDA App and Charge-Thru (a web link solution designed to be compatible with any app for the convenience of EV users).

This collaboration will reshape the EV charging infrastructure throughout India. It will offer improved convenience and accessibility to Passenger Electric Vehicle (PEV) users nationwide.
