As mentioned, the OSM Stream City Qik is nothing less than a revolution in the passenger EV domain. Its 0-100% charge time of just 15 minutes is powered by Exponent’s rapid charging network. For those unaware, Exponent Energy is based in Bengaluru, Karnataka, and is one of the leading startups in the EV charging space. In a media release following the launch, the company claimed that it will deploy 100 charging stations in Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru in 2024. It will also expand its charging network to other Indian cities including Chennai, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, and Hyderabad going forward.

As for the electric vehicle in question, the OSM Stream City Qik comes as an upgraded version of the OSM Stream City, which takes around 4 hours to charge fully. The new electric auto-rickshaw comes with a warranty of 5 years or 2,00,000 km (whichever comes first). This should help ensure buyers of their investments for a long time.
Additionally, the 15-minute rapid charging capability on the OSM Stream City Qik is meant to give a revolutionary advantage to drivers, increasing their earnings potential by minimizing downtime and maximizing efficiency on the road. This would let drivers complete more trips in a shorter span, significantly boosting their monthly income by a minimum of 30 per cent, as per the company.
