Tata Motors has launched the “King of SUVs” initiative, reducing prices for its leading SUV models, the Safari and the Harrier.

However, the benefits also extend to the electric vehicle lineup, such as the Nexon EV and the Punch EV. Here’s an overview of the discounts available for the Tata Nexon and the Punch in July 2024.

Tata Punch EV

The Tata Punch has gained significant popularity in India due to its size, features, and, most importantly, its price. The Punch comes in two powertrain options – ICE and EV.

The EV variant attracted attention since its launch. Tata Punch (both EV and ICE) contributed to Tata Motors’ sales of 18,238 units in June 2024, marking a 66% Y-o-Y increase.

In July 2024, the Tata Punch EV receives discounts and benefits ranging from Rs 10,000 to Rs 30,000. The starting price for the Tata Punch EV is Rs 10.98 lakh, with a selection of 20 different variants on offer.

Tata Nexon EV

Nexon has been the most popular model for Tata. It consistently ranked among the top 10 best-selling vehicles month after month.

However, in recent times, the Nexon has experienced a decline in sales, with May 2024 seeing the Nexon fail to make the top 10 list. By June, Nexon barely secured a place on the list with 12,066 units sales and experienced a -12.74 Y-o-Y decrease in sales.

But Tata Motors is commemorating the sale of 20 lakh SUVs by providing incentives on this EV SUV. The Nexon EV Empowered+ LR and Empowered+ LR Dark models receive benefits of Rs 1.3 lakh. Meanwhile, other models are eligible for discounts ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 70,000.
