Rimac is well-known for its advanced electric drivetrains that offer high performance. The Croatian car manufacturer became popular for the Nevera and a partnership with Bugatti.
Mate Rimac, who founded the company in 2009, created his own enterprise under the same name. In celebration of the company’s fifteenth year, Rimac Automobili crafted a special edition Nevera, featuring stylish copper paint.
Mate Rimac said:
The 15th Anniversary Edition Nevera is the car that marks our progress, revelling just how far we’ve come. From garage to global; from worrying about keeping the lights on to a 2bn EUR valuation; from converted BMW 3 Series to the world’s fastest accelerating production car, and from hypercar maker to Tier 1 EV tech supplier and energy storage pioneers.
All achieved in a country where all of this would have sounded like science fiction at the time of founding the company.
15th Anniversary Edition: Design Cues
In honor of the company’s inception in 2009, Riman will manufacture just nine hypercars, with the initial one finished in a distinct copper shade. The eye-catching custom paint complements the visible carbon fiber. Meanwhile, exclusive graphics and 15th-anniversary badges adorn the front fender, amplifying its visual appeal.
The wheel’s design has a dual-tone effect, featuring six spokes in copper and three in black. Additionally, the special edition includes a sign that stretches from the hood to the rear wing.
Interior Updates
Inside the cabin, the copper hue extends to the anodized switchgear and door trim, adding a striking touch. The seats feature contrasting leather in copper, complemented by copper stitching. Also, all variants—whether in black or white—bear the number 15 imprinted on the headrests.
Moreover, the armrest bears intricate engravings of the years 2009 and 2024. It signifies that the vehicle is one of only nine manufactured, developed, and produced in Croatia.
Powertrain and Price
Equipped with a quad-motor all-wheel drive setup and a 120kWh battery pack, the Nevera delivers a staggering 1888 horsepower and 2,369Nm of torque at its peak. These specifications enable the vehicle to reach a maximum speed of 412 km/h and achieve a WLTP-certified range of 490 km. Additionally, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 1.74 seconds.
Priced at USD 2.5 million (around Rs 20.87 crore), the Nevera 15th Anniversary Edition has every conceivable luxury, including tailored luggage that complements the vehicle’s interior. Moreover, the copper-shade Rimac Nevera will make its first appearance at the Goodwood Festival of Speed.
