Renault India has announced the availability of government-approved CNG retrofitment kits across all its models. The CNG kits will be available for Renault cars including Kiger, Triber, and Kwid. The initiative will expand Renault’s reach to a new set of customers and provide eco-friendly mobility solutions under its catalogue.
The company says that all these CNG retrofitment kits will come with a three-year warranty.

New Renault CNG Retrofitment Kits
The CNG retrofitment kit is available for all variants and models except automatic and Turbo variants. The CNG kit will come as a retrofit installed through a preferred vendor using a homologated kit. Renault ensures that it meets all safety and performance standards.
The development and customisation of the fitment are detailed to the smallest hardware packaged as a kit to have uniformity and standardised fitments across the network.
Renault says that its cars with CNG kits have been duly validated to ensure no impact on driving performance. This will also ensure the best driving experience for its customers.
The CNG retrofitment kits will be available in a phased manner across India. Sales will start in five key states – Haryana, UP, Delhi, Gujarat & Maharashtra. This will contribute 65% of the market and subsequently cover 100% in the coming months.
