Luxury German automaker Porsche has introduced two new variants of the Macan EV in India. The electric SUV originally debuted in India in a single Turbo variant, which now has a price of Rs 1.69 crore, up from Rs 1.65 crore.
The base Standard edition carries a price tag of Rs 1.22 crore, whereas the middle-tier 4S variant sells for Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom).

The Porsche Macan EV competes with premium electric SUVs like the Audi Q8 e-tron, Mercedes EQE SUV, and the BMW iX.
Porsche is accepting bookings for the two new models, with deliveries scheduled to begin later this year.
How Much Power does the Porsche Macan Electric have?
The base model has a single electric motor at the rear, making it Porsche’s first SUV with rear-wheel drive. The motor produces 360 bhp and 563 Nm torque. Moreover, it allows the Macan EV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and reach a top speed of 220 km/h, limited electronically.
The mid-range Macan 4S EV uses two electric motors, which generate 516 bhp in boost mode (448bhp as standard). Furthermore, the SUV accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds and can reach a top speed of 240 km/h.
The top-tier Turbo variant boasts 630 bhp and 1,130 Nm torque. This setup allows the e-SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in only 3.3 seconds.
Both the Standard and 4S models are available with electronically controlled active suspension. However, the 4S distinguishes itself by providing rear-wheel-steering and torque vectoring with a fully adjustable rear differential lock.
The Standard variant features a single-motor setup – RWD, making it 110 kg lighter than the twin-motor AWD configuration 4S.
What is the Range of the Electric Porsche Macan?
Each variant of the Macan EV has a 100kWh battery pack. The Turbo EV, the top trim level, provides a range of 591 km. The Macan 4S EV, the mid-level trim, offers a range of 606 km.
The Macan EV, the lowest trim level, offers the highest range, up to 641 km on a single charge.
The electric SUV uses an 800V charging system from the PPE platform. It allows for DC charging speeds of up to 270kW. With an appropriate rapid charger, the Macan EV battery can charge 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes.
Additionally, Porsche has introduced a fresh exterior paint choice called Slate Grey Neo. Also, it comes with optional 20-inch alloy wheels for the Macan S model. The entire Macan lineup now offers an optional off-road design package, which increases the ground clearance clearance by 10mm.
