Kia India has launched the updated EV6 GT Line AWD at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India). This update brings a larger 84-kWh battery pack, offering an ARAI MIDC range of 663 km on a full charge. For highlights, the new EV6 model includes 27 advanced driver assistance features (ADAS), with five new autonomous capabilities. Also, the fast-charging capability now allows the electric car to go from 10% to 80% charge in just 18 minutes using a 350 kW charger. With these updates, Kia aims to strengthen its position in India’s premium EV market. At Rs 65.9 lakh, the new Kia EV6 price in India remains in the same range as before, targeting buyers seeking both long-range performance and advanced technology in an electric vehicle.
EV6 vs EV6: What’s New?
Kia claims to have refined the design, interior, and connectivity features on the new 2025 EV6. These include a panoramic dual 12.3-inch curved display, Kia Connect 2.0 with over 100 connected features, and OTA software updates for key vehicle functions. The new Digital Key 2.0 enables unlocking and starting the car via smartphone.
The new EV6 features a redesigned front end with a Star Map DRL, sequential indicators, and a GT-Line bumper. It has 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels and Star Map LED tail lamps at the rear. Inside, it includes a new D-cut steering wheel and an upgraded infotainment system.
For safety, the new ADAS 2.0 package offers 27 driver assistance features, including Junction Turning Assist and Evasive Steering Assist. As for its performance, the new 2025 EV6 produces 325 PS power and 605 Nm torque.

The all-new 2025 Kia EV6: Our Take
It remains to be seen how the new EV6 performs in the price-competitive and still developing electric car market of India. While the previous model saw a bit timid sales, it promised industry leading technology at the time of its launch. If nothing else, it certainly managed to up the bar of what electric cars in India were capable of at the time, especially eliminating the range anxiety usually associated with EVs.
