Skoda Auto India will reveal the Enyaq iV electric SUV at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024, among other ICE and electric cars. The event is supposed to take place from February 1 to February 3 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi.
The Enyaq iV, Skoda’s new flagship product in India, made its worldwide premiere in 2022 and is scheduled to hit the Indian market in the fourth quarter of the financial year 2024. The electric SUV, which is expected to appear before April of this year, has a 77 kWh battery pack and twin electric motors with a combined output of 261 horsepower.
The Enyaq iV promises a captivating electric driving experience, with a range of 513 km (WLTP Cycle) on a single charge and DC fast charging capabilities up to 125 kW. Notable features include the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), a 360-degree camera, digital displays for the instrument panel and infotainment system, and quality leatherette cabin upholstery.
The Enyaq iV is built on the MEB platform shared with the Volkswagen ID.4 GTX and Audi Q4 e-tron. Initially coming as a Completely Built Unit (CBU), local assembly may be considered depending on demand. The Enyaq iV will compete with other premium electric car options in India, such as the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Ioniq 5.
