Tata Motors has put up attractive discounts and added benefits on its line-up of electric cars for the month of March. Except for the Punch EV, all the electric cars with the Tata moniker, are up for sale with a substantial discount on their prices. These include the Tata Nexon EV Max, Tata Nexon EV, Tata Tiago EV, and Tata Tigor EV.
Since the discount is on the EVs manufactured last year, the discount scheme seems to be an attempt to clear unsold stock. However, it should be noted that some newer 2024 models of the Nexon EV and Tiago EV also get the benefits for new buyers. Here is a look at all the benefits that buyers of these Tata EVs can avail of in the month of March.
Tata Nexon EV and Nexon EV Max discounts
The Nexon EV Max is up for sale with a cash discount of Rs 2.65 lakh and an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000. This lowers the total price of the electric car by Rs 3.1 lakh. Similarly, Nexon EV Prime has a cash discount of Rs 2.30 lakh along with an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000, lowering its total price by Rs 2.81 lakh. Note that these discounts are on the unsold 2023 units of the pre-facelift Nexon EV and are subject to availability. The facelift models have no discount on them, other than the green discount of Rs 20,000.
For those unaware, the Nexon EV Prime is powered by a 129hp electric motor and a 30.2kWh battery pack, delivering an ARAI-certified range of 312km. The Nexon EV Max is a step-up version with a 143hp electric motor with a 40.5kWh battery, delivering an ARAI-certified range of 437km.
Tata Tiago EV and Tigor EV discounts
2023 units of Tiago EV are up for sale with a green bonus of Rs 50,000 and an exchange offer of Rs 15,000, lowering their price by Rs 65,000. The 2023 Tigor EV, Tata’s all-electric sedan, ups this discount to Rs 1.05 lakh, with a cash discount of Rs 75,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 30,000 across variants.
