Don’t confuse Bharat NCAP with Global NCAP
The new Bharat NCAP norms came into effect on October 1, 2023. These norms are based on the latest GNCAP protocols.
It’s worth noting that under Global NCAP, the maximum score for AOP is 34 points, while it is 32 points in Bharat NCAP. Aside from this difference, the crash test protocols and rating assignments seem to be very similar.
